Went to my first MassTuning track day and had a great time. It was only my second time on the big track.

I was definitely slow, but I’m new to this and trying to learn the right way. I brought out my Lexus IS500 and spent the day getting comfortable, learning the line, and figuring out what I need to improve which is pretty much everything. 😂

Huge thanks to everyone who was friendly, patient, and helpful. The community was welcoming and it made the day a lot less intimidating.

I’m looking forward to getting more seat time, learning from the faster drivers, and slowly improving.

She has a big couple of weeks coming up! First off I’m going to @ecsperformance_ and Seth is going to change my dipstick. The original is rubbing against the header so I bought a pre bent.
Next I’m doing a drain and refill of the atf and an oil and filter change. Then I have a track day at @limerockpark and 2 days later a track day at @thompson_raceway and then 3 days later another track day at @poconoraceway . This is going to be fun! Post tune and PPE equal length headers, the dyno sheet showed 495 whp / 428 wtq.

That works out to a displayed gain of 97 whp and 87 wtq, but the dyno settings were not matched between runs, so I’m not calling it a confirmed apples-to-apples number yet.
